Recense respects the intellectual property rights of all parties and complies with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. §512) as well as Vietnam's Decree 17/2023/ND-CP on the liability of intermediary platforms in handling copyright infringement.

We will process valid infringement notices within 72 business hours of receipt.

Email:

[TO BE FILLED: DMCA notice email]

Mailing address:

[TO BE FILLED: Full address]

Important: The designated agent must be registered with the US Copyright Office (copyright.gov/dmca-directory) before the platform accepts UGC from the public. Fee is approximately $6 USD, renewed every 3 years.

3. Submitting an Infringement Notice (DMCA Notice)

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized representative) and believe that content on Recense infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to the agent above including all of the following:

  1. Signature: Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized person.
  2. Infringed Work: Description of the copyrighted work alleged to be infringed.
  3. Infringing Content: URL or sufficient information for Recense to identify the infringing content.
  4. Contact Information: Your address, phone number, and email.
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, under penalty of perjury for false claims.

Warning: Submitting false or fraudulent notices may result in legal liability under DMCA §512(f).

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to Recense's designated agent including:

  1. Your signature (physical or electronic).
  2. Description of the content removed and its location before removal.
  3. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Recense operates).
  4. Your full contact information.
  5. A good faith statement that the material was removed due to error or misidentification.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, Recense will notify the complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 business days if the complainant does not file a lawsuit in that time.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

Recense maintains and enforces a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers under DMCA §512(i). See also Terms of Use §4.

6. Platform Reporting Process

In addition to filing a formal DMCA notice, you may use the "Report" button on each public deck page to send a quick report to the Recense team. This is the fastest way to have content reviewed, but it does not replace a formal DMCA notice if you wish to protect your legal rights.
